1. Entrants must be 18 or over.

2. The deadline for entries is as stated in the competition 'Key Information' page. Any entries received after this deadline will be invalid.

3. By entering, entrants guarantee that all information they provide is accurate, current, and complete. They also guarantee that they own the full rights to any copyright works submitted, and A Room for Music's use of works submitted will not infringe on any third party's rights.

4. By entering, entrants guarantee that they have the reasonable means outside of what is provided as a prize to fully realise the project within the dates of filming provided in the 'Key Information' page.

5. A limit of one entry per person or group applies. It is permitted for an individual from a group submitting an entry to submit a solo entry. However only one group member may submit an application for their solo work alongside their group entry.​

6. Entrants must send their song file (.wav, .aiff or .mp3 only) by email to submissions.aroomformusic@gmail.com alongside their submission form, as disclosed in the form. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.​

7. Neither A Room for Music nor any party involved in the promotion, operation, or administration of any aspect of this competition will accept responsibility or liability for any delay in operation, delay, loss of entries or failure in communications as a result of server functions, virus, bugs, or other causes outside its control.

8. Any entries which are not accurate, completed, comprehensible, or not received by A Room for Music, will be void.

9. The decision of A Room for Music shall be final in the event of any dispute or misunderstanding concerning the acceptability or accuracy of the entry.

10. Any expenses incurred in the making of any entry or in the final project will not be reimbursed by A Room for Music.

Prize

1. The prize is outlined in the 'Key Information' page.

2. The method for selecting the winner is described on the 'Key Information' page.

3. A Room for Music will contact the winner as soon as possible following the competition's closing date. The winner will be reached via the phone number or email address submitted during entry. The winner will have 24 hours to claim their prize. If A Room for Music is unable to reach the winner, or if the winner does not or is not able to respond and maintain regular contact until the specified final day of filming, the prize may be forfeited. Due to the quick turnover between submission deadline and filming, A Room for Music reserves the right to choose a new winner in accordance with these terms and conditions. 

4. A Room for Music reserves the right to withhold a prize at its sole discretion if an entrant violates these terms, engages in fraudulent or dishonest behavior, or exhibits any other inappropriate or improper conduct.

5. A Room for Music may, at its sole discretion, disqualify any entrant who enters or attempts to enter the Competition in a manner deemed by A Room for Music to be in violation of these terms and conditions, or in a way that is unfair to other participants.

6. A Room for Music retains the right to modify, terminate, or suspend the Competition at its sole discretion, if it determines that the Competition cannot be carried out as outlined in these terms and conditions.

7. The entrant (and where applicable each group member) must be available for the filming days as stated in the 'Key Information'. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.

8. A Room for Music may publish the first name, surname, and artist or group name of the winner. Entrants grant A Room for Music a non-exclusive license to use and publish their entry across any media for the purpose of announcing the winner.

Liability

1. A Room for Music accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment incurred by any entrant as a result of entering the competition or accepting a prize.

2. A Room for Music does not guarantee that the services offered as a prize in the competition will be free from errors or omissions, nor that they will be available without interruption or in full working order. These services may be temporarily suspended without notice due to reasons reasonably beyond A Room for Music’s control. A Room for Music will not be held liable if all or part of the service related to the competition is discontinued, modified, or altered in any way.

Standard Terms​

1. If any entrant fails to comply with or meet these terms and conditions, as well as the competition 'Key Information', A Room for Music has the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify the entrant without any further liability. In such cases, any prize won by the entrant may be forfeited, and A Room for Music reserves the right to reclaim the prize.

2. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms and Conditions will not impact the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions. If any provision is found to be invalid, unenforceable, or illegal, the rest of these Terms and Conditions will remain in effect and will be interpreted as though the invalid or illegal provision is not included.
